A hotel and conference centre for a cult in Hollywood with a fog garden and atrium that comprise a unique lighting  strategy: a solar/phosphor liquid system “materialises” light, and an atrium acts as a crude optical instrument, manipulating light to create an architectural manifestation of human fantasies embodied in film and popular culture, an illusion of living in the clouds.
