Next Shoot approached Compost Creative to produce the motion graphics for a promotional film for a school looking to raise investment. A centrepiece of the film was visualising the unbuilt plans (designed by Rivington Street Studio Architects) for several buildings for which they were raising funds. The buildings were represented as photoreal architectural models that magically appeared within one of the school’s oldest rooms.

I led the design and production of this cgi segment: preproduction involved previsualising and planning the sequence, and designing the look and animation style; production involved vfx supervision on set, directing the D.O.P. and other cast and crew; postproduction involved animation, particle simulation, rendering and compositing. Working predominantly independently, I was assisted with the 3d camera tracking, and additionally provided motion graphics supervision for other segments of the animation.
